The City of Davenport has published its events through early December. Trunk or Treat is Saturday, October 31, 6:00 to 9:00 PM, with car-to-car trick-or-treating, music, games, and a costume contest (event page; the city hasn't posted the location yet). Charles Cove has a new go-to grocery run: Publix opened its store at The Shoppes at Citrus Creek — 42660 US Hwy 27, Davenport, FL 33837 — on June 25, 2026, right on US-27 near the neighborhood and a few minutes from I-4. The new center also brings Publix Liquors, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Great Clips, a nail salon, and a Fifth Third Bank.
